BEHIND THE CAMERA

I have always been interested in video creation. At a young age I was first fascinated with animation. Being that I loved cartoons and making people laugh (and even still today!), it just made sense. In middle school I made flip book animations on post-it-notes, eventually moving on to Adobe Flash. In high school, my interest transformed into film . I enjoyed learning about human behavior and growth, so I was particularly interested in film directing. In college I chose to pursue psychology and got my B.A. in Psychology. After graduating and working in building operations roles for a few years, I went on to study at BAVC Media and gained my certificate in production and editing.

Now I am actively working on video production projects. Currently, my full time career is unrelated, however, my dream for video creation drives my creative spirit. I can close my eyes and visualize stories just by listening to a piece of music. I can watch films and see where I might have changed the direction of the film, tweaked the script or helped guide actors' performances. Film is deeply embedded in my creative spirit and I will always feel inspired to create film.
